Osborne’s Conservation Mix
35% Creeping Red Fescue
25% Tall Fescue
15% Annual Ryegrass
12% Perennial Ryegrass
10% Kentucky Bluegrass
3% White Clover
An economical, low-maintenance mix that grows over a wide range of conditions. Good for slopes, poor soils, and erosion control. Often used on roadsides by highway departments. Recommended when low maintenance is desired, and appearance is not a primary concern (doesn’t have a “turf” look & contains clover).
Seeding rate: 650 square feet per pound, 50 lbs / 32,500 sq. ft. (65 lbs per acre).
